I am going to try to do a week review of what I did to continue working on growing Nicki's Beauty Bar. I see why when people start a business that they are patient about they call it their baby. Because Nicki's Beauty Bar is definitely mind, I live, eat, & sleep Nicki's Beauty Bar. So this week I actually started a part time job that I can make my own schedule as I need. That was important for me because when starting a small business things fluctaute. Most businesses don't come in the door with a large clientle so you have to work for it and be patient. I have been working on getting my name out there for a year now and have a good word of mouth recognition. So I now do by appointment or @ least a phone call to come check out my boutique. It is very hard to just sit somehwhere and not know if just 1 person is going to walk thru that door. I would start thinking of my bills and if tomoorw would be different (thats just being real). So that is what brought me to getting my part-time job and I'm happy about it, there's nothing like a steady pay check. But don't get me wrong there is NOTHING like owning your own.
