Vybz Kartel dancehall artist bleached his skin

A reggae dancehall artist recently bleached his skin.  He compared his skin bleaching to women putting weave in their hair are straighting their hair.  He also said what's the difference in bleaching than any other plastic surgery or cosmetic procedure.  Now I have been to Jamaica several times and everytime and everywhere I went I would see at least one person who uses some sort of bleaching cream.  I never understood why anybody would use this cause it doesn't look natural or good nonetheless what is wrong with having chococalety skin.  I am brown skin and love my complexion and the variations in colors of other people.  Some would say that it is a reflection of self hate to bleach your skin. I don't know.... I do understand where he is coming from though because I would not consider everyone who gets a cosmetic procedure to have self hate but I would think what ever they changed they did not like previous.  So that leads me to believe that if the most obvious physical feature that makes you black is your skin and you don't like your brown skin than you may have self-hate.  Those are my thoughts what are yours?

Lil Kim is coming out with a clothing line 24/7 Star: Goddess Collection

I seen some of the fashions and I don't know if I would buy any of the clothes I seen.  I want to be able to support Lil Kim cause I really do like her and all but not really feeling it.  I just don't know were the cable doesn't connect with some of these artist clothing lines.  Can't and do they hire a designer? I just don't get it!

Braids

Brandy has been recently seen out rocking some bra length braids.  I love them.  They bring me back to her *Sitting in My Room* days.  It is a nice change from her lace fronts ( which I have no problem with cuz I thought it was cute too).  And I am LOVING the earings she is wearing.  The siblong love that they are showing in the pictures are nice too...& Terrance J.

Mac Cosmetics Wonder Woman Collection

Mac is coming out with a new collection called wonder woman it has  pretty much all the staple except primer, concealer, foundation 7 that type of stuff.  In th collection there are 2 cute make-up bags a blue & red, mascaras,lip glass, lipstick, blush, nail polish and a must have utility belt make-up bag. I will upload all of the pics.

Rosary beads

I am really feeling the new rosary bead trend.  It is a very simple cute accessory that if you like to look up to date with the urban trends you will definitely need @ least one necklace.  They also have the wooden beads that hv the african continent as the pendulum.  I so love those 1s as well I feel so Afro proud to wear it.  Some people feel like they are more in tune with there African Heritage then me because of my hair or (weave) and so on but I don't let others feeling dictate how are why I where what I do.  I like what I like and I am who I am.  So I'm at least going to hv a couple colors of those 1s as well in my wardrobe.
